Jenny Bergqvist is an aspiring photographer from Sweden, now living and photographing in London. After living in Stockholm for a number of years, she moved to the small town of Skövde to study animal welfare biology. After three years of total deprivation of culture and glamour, she decided to move to (what she considers to be) the style capital of the world – London.
Jenny gets inspired by the energetic and sometimes dodgy streets of her own neighborhood Shoreditch. To her, the many styles and vivacious subcultures that London is famous for, is all you can ask for as a photographer. She believes that fashion isn’t just superficiality, but expressive of your views and personality. Jenny feels that fashion has the ability to be about personal style, at the same time as being a form of activism, something she is aiming for with her own vegan clothes. But more than anything, to her style is about having a sense of humour. It’s just clothes, she says.
