Tonight, agency Artist in Wonderland will feature a runway show showcasing national and international young designers’s autumn / winter 2011 collections at the Escherwyss Club in Zürich, Switzerland.

Mila Miyahara by Nadine Miyahara
Minimalistic design, classic cuts and clever detailing are to be seen from Mila Miyahara, bringing playful freedom and effortless personality through functionality and underlining the clear construction through a timeless colour scheme: black and white are merely complemented by minor colour accentuation. The label was founded in March 2009 by Nadine Miyahara and will be showing its beautiful line consisting of flattering materials such as silk, sateen and lace.
‚I chose fashion because it is similar to art in which you are able to express yourself‘ says Rick Lee, who graduated with a master’s degree in fashion design from the Domus Academy in Milan after his designs for the Roberto Cavalli competition 2010 had been chosen amongst the top three. He now works for the womenswear collection of Pirelli Italy as well as on his own designs. Finding inspiration everywhere and in everything, as Rick puts it, he shows strongly architectural cuts and shapes. He is not a person who would tell a narrative in his collection but is rather following a visionary and radical line.

Inspired by art, fashion, architecture and design, the young menswear label unlike FashionDesign founded at the beginning of this year brings about outfits with modern and individual elements adding to their timeless charm. Quality materials are the trademark of Sven Oesch’s designs.
A little magical, a little crazy and very playful are the clothes of fufavi by Lila Fufavi. Aimed at sexy, life loving women, this collection is wearable with a fun edge to it.
Co-organiser BemEvents also got hair stylist Pablo Kümin to do a live performance as the evening will unfold, coming up with the newest trends we are soon to wear on our heads. After the show the golden catwalk will become a dance floor but before partying hard make ensure to pop into the showroom and bag one of the exclusive key pieces from the coming season.
